For caterers, lunch schemes and canteen kitchens
Organised catering – with fewer surprises
CateringPlanner brings orders, diets, delivery times and the kitchen’s plan together in one place, so everyone works from the same figures. Better planning means less stress and fewer last-minute mistakes. Orders are read automatically – you approve.

How it works
Every order takes the same path
The order is received, approved, planned, produced and delivered – in the same order every time, with the same figures all the way. Features marked “Coming soon” are in development.
The order comes in
Customers write the way they always have: emails, web forms and resellers’ lists. CateringPlanner reads them and proposes the changes.
You approve
See the proposal with its source beside it. Approve, correct or reject – an order from an email changes nothing until one of you has said yes.
- Coming soon
Menu and purchasing are planned
The week’s menu is set, and portions and purchasing are worked out from the menu and the number of covers.
The kitchen produces
The day’s production per kitchen with covers, diets, add-ons and notes – ready to print.
The food goes out
The delivery list and the labels for the boxes come with it, so every delivery reaches the right place.
- Coming soon
Invoicing
The invoice basis is built from the deliveries that actually went out.
Features
Everything a catering kitchen has to keep track of
Orders from email, web and resellers
Emails, web forms and resellers’ lists are read automatically. CateringPlanner finds the customer, the day, the number of covers and the diets and proposes the change – you approve.
Standing orders, cancellations and closures
Each customer has a standing order with weekdays, covers, diets and delivery time. The week is created with one click, a holiday closure cancels the right deliveries, and a cancelled delivery can always be restored.
Kitchen planning
The day’s production per kitchen with covers, diets, add-ons and notes. If a change comes in after printing, it is marked as changed – on screen and on the next print – so the kitchen doesn’t cook from an old sheet.
Diets and allergies all the way through
Your own list of diets – vegetarian, gluten-free, no pork and whatever else you use – is counted per delivery and follows the order all the way to the kitchen sheet, so no diet gets lost on the way.
Menu planning
Set the week’s menu with dishes, recipes and allergens. Portions are worked out from the menu and the number of covers and diets.
Transport and delivery
Every delivery has its own delivery time. The delivery list and the box labels come as PDF, stamped with the time they were printed. Setup times, route planning and a view for the drivers are coming.
Staff planning
Plan who works in the kitchen and who drives out on which days, based on the week’s deliveries and the number of covers.
Purchasing
The shopping list is worked out from the menu, the portions and the number of covers, so you buy what you need – no more, no less.
Invoicing
The invoice basis is built from the deliveries that actually went out and passed on to your accounting software.
Full traceability
Every change is saved with who and when. On a delivery you can see which email or list a figure came from, and who approved it. If a figure is not what you expected, you can see why.

Testimonials
What kitchens say
The morning’s emails took an hour. Now they’re done before the coffee is ready.
I can always see why it says 24 and not 22. I couldn’t before.
The diets are on the sheet every day. We haven’t forgotten a gluten-free since.
